About Bob Dent

I am a native of Colorado who has spent countless hours outdoors, enjoying the beauty of the Rocky Mountains. Through the years, activities such as hiking, skiing, snowshoeing and climbing many of Colorado's Fourteeners, have provided me with wonderful opportunities to grow in my appreciation for the awe inspiring beauty of Colorado.

Throughout my life I have also nourished a love for the arts. These two passions, the arts and the outdoors, came delightfully together for me when I discovered nature photography. Now when I travel into the backcountry, I endeavor to capture brief moments from these beautiful places in my photography.

I hope at least a small sense of the wonder of these places comes through in the images you see here.
